Telugu-Tamil actor Nani has replaced Dulqar Salman in Mani Ratnam’s new film. He had earlier decided to cast Dulqar and Karthi in his film. It is hinted that Dulqar withdrew from the film as Mani Ratnam postponed the project. He decided to delay the project as he planned to make it a bilingual film.Nitya Menen and Keerthy Suresh are the two heroines of the film.
It was earlier decided to start the film in December. The shooting of the film got postponed as he decided to make it in Tamil and Telugu. Dulquer had set aside dates for Mani Ratnam’s film in December but due to the delay of the project, he had to walk out as he was getting offers for other Malayalam films.
He has given dates for Prathap Pothen’s new film.
