PONNANI: Three members of a family were found dead in Malappuram Monday morning. When the body of the 35-year-old-youth was found with his throat slit, his wife and his eight-month-old-baby were found dead in a well.
The dead has been identified as Faizal of Malappuram, his wife Saleena (28) and son as Fahal. It is suspected that Saleena may have committed suicide by jumping into the well with her son after slitting her husband’s throat. The local residents hearing the baby’s cry found the two in the well. They later found Faizal lying dead on the floor.
Faizal, who was in the Gulf, reached the state two weeks before for the construction of his house. He was to return back on October 20. Saleena was stated to be mentally unstable. The bodies of the two were recovered with the help of the fire force.
