Antony Raju still supports Mani in bar bribery case

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Even after leaving Kerala Congress (M) following schism in the party, part leader Antony Raju has not spoken against party chairman K M Mani regarding the bar bribery allegations.

“I have not changed my earlier stand. I still don’t believe that Mani has taken bribe from bar owners. As long as there is no evidence against Mani, we have no reason to think otherwise.

What is happening in Kerala Congress is family rule. If Jose K Mani had not been Mani’s son he would not have become even a panchayat member. We also don’t have plans to merge with Skaria Thomas group,” Raju clarified.
