KOCHI: Former KPCC General Secretary T Siddique said on Wednesday that he didn’t know Solar scam accused Saritha S Nair personally. He gave this statement before the Solar judicial commission in Kochi.
He said he didn’t know whether Saritha contacted Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Hibi Eden MLA and other ministers. He also didn’t remember these people having any telephonic contact with Saritha.
Siddique said he didn’t have any personal relationship with Chief Minister’s former personal staff member Tenny Joppan.
Earlier Saritha deposed before the Commission that she had met Siddique. Based on this statement, Commission Chairman Justice Sivarajan asked him to be present before the Commission to record his statement.
