Kozhikode medical College will be elevated to global standards : Shylaja

Kozhikode : Health minister  K K Shylaja said that within 3 years , the medical college hospital will have a new facelift with the cooperation of the people.
The minister while speaking at a function said that we dream of uplifting the medical college hospital to international standards. And to fulfil that dream, everyone must offer their help to the project, Shylaja said.
Common man should get hi-tech facilities at the hospital. The best-in-class studies and researches should happen here, the Minister said. Till now, no medical colleges in the state have featured in the international rankings, Shylaja said, adding that we should strive to attain international ranking for Kozhikode Medical College.
Shylaja said that a Committee will be formed to oversee the use of funds obtained through Mission Medical College Project. The Minister further stated that the Committee has been entrusted with the task of conducting a contour survey and prepare a master plan for the college. A consultancy should be employed to prepared the master plan. 
In order to address the dearth of staff, new posts will be created every year and appointed will be made promptly.
