If not Modi, Sonia or Antony to become PM: Cherian Philip

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a post on his Facebook, Cherian Philip, government’s Navakerala Mission Co-ordinator and left sympathizer has predicted Sonia Gandhi or A.K. Antony to the post of Prime Minister in case Narendra Modi doesn’t make it.

In his post, Cherian Philip predicts Narendra Modi to be invited by the President as the leader of the party with the highest number of seats. If he cannot prove the majority, the next chance will be for Congress. Regional parties won’t accept Rahul Gandhi. There will be people who oppose Manmohan Singh as the person responsible for the downfall of the 10-year government lead by Congress. Mamata Banerjee, Mayawati, Sharad Pawar, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Devagowda, Chandrababu Naidu and Chandrasekhara Rao desires the Prime Minister post. But they won’t have any problem in recognizing Sonia Gandhi, the UPA President. If Sonia denies it, next in line is A.K. Antony as he is a welcome personality for most.
