Mohanlal’s Lucifer crosses 200 crores, creates new history

Mohanlal’s 'Lucifer' has crossed the elite 200 crore mark worldwide. The film has created a new history in the box office of Malayalam films.

Many films have crossed 100 and 150 crore, the record for the first 200 crore film has gone to this film which has Mohanlal in the lead role. Those behind the crew shared this news in the film’s official Facebook page. Fans have given Mohanlal the name ‘Thampuram of records’. The reason is that the first 50, 100 and 150 crore of Mollywood have gone to the films of Mohanlal.

Lucifer’s success is considered as the fastest box office in the history of Malayalam films. The film crossed 100 crore club in eight days and 150 in 21 days and 200 crore in 50 days. Lucifer was directed by Prithviraj. The big budget film scripted by Murali Gopy and produced by Antony Perumbavoor has Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith, Vivek Oberoi, Fazil, Sai Kumar, Sania Iyappan and many others.
