Proud moment, Pinarayi opens listing ceremony of KIIFB masala bonds

LONDON: It was a proud moment for the state and Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB). Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has created history by opening the listing ceremony of KIIFB Masala Bonds at the London Stock Exchange (LSE). He was invited by the LSE to open the listing ceremony.

This was the first time that a chief minister from the country attending the listing ceremony. The bonds of KIIFB were listed in the LSE. KIIFB, a state government firm is the first in India listing their bonds in this way.

The bonds of KIIFB were listed in London Stock Exchange aiming to bring in a capital investment of Rs 50,000 crore for infrastructure development in the next three years.

The inauguration of the pravasi chitty of KSFE in Europe will be held after this. Finance Minister Dr Thomas Isaac, Chief Secretary Tom Jose and KIIFB CEO K M Abraham accompanied the chief minister for the function at LSE.
