100 sovereigns stolen in Thrissur

THRISSUR: Hundred sovereigns of gold were stolen from a house at Paruthykkara in Thrissur. The theft took place in the house of Chandran, a retired naval officer. The gold stolen was kept in the almirah.  Police have started investigation.
