Tankers begin indefinite strike in Kochi
KOCHI: A section of tankers supplying drinking water in the city began an indefinite strike here Sunday. The strike is staged raising demands like avoid unnecessary intervention of police and food and safety department and to open water sources for supplying drinking water.
Almost 400 tanker lorries in the city have suspended services. If the strike continues, shortage of drinking water will be grave.
