Thiruvanchoor rejects CBI probe in TP case

KOTTAYAM: Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan said in the present situation there is no need to hand over the TP Chandrasekharan murder case to the CBI. He said a decision will be taken when TP’s wife K K Rema demands a CBI probe in writing. The minister said this when it was brought to his notice that the RMP will approach the court seeking a CBI probe. The investigation by the police is progressing well. The government will not take any steps to weaken the probe, he said.
