Sreesanth confident of resuming practice soon

KOCHI: Indian Speedster S Sreesanth, who is on rest after twin surgeries on his toes, expressed the hope that he could resume his practice soon. Talking to media men during a private function here, the ace striker said he had not fully recovered from his injuries and expected that he could be in the Indian team by January next. 'I am not in a hurry. This is the first time even I can wear my shoes after the surgery. I am expecting that the routine practice would resume in four months,' he added. Asked about the Indian team, he said India team was a team and there was no importance to individual players. Replying to question about the recent argument with flight attendants on board Bangalore-Delhi flight, he said it was not with him but his friend, and the captain apologised to him after the incident. The cricketer from the Gods Own Country received the 'Son of Kerala' award instituted by the All India Conference of Intellectuals.
