THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Industrialist Kochouseph Chittilappilly on Saturday declared a financial help of Rs 5 lakh to Jazeera, a native of Kannur who had fought against sand mafia.
Chittilappilly recently triggered a controversy by giving a reward of Rs five lakh to a housewife Sandhya, who had locked horns with LDF leaders agitating near the cliff House. After that incident many have been criticising Chittilappilly, saying he is turning a blind eye in the case of Jazeera. The declaration of aid for Jazeera follows this criticism.
