THRISSUR: Thrissur Vigilance court has ordered an inquiry into Kerala Food and Civil Supplies Minister Anoop Jacob.
The charge against him is that he transferred Thrissur District Registrar Venugopal due to political compulsions. The court’s order for inquiry came in response to a petition filed in this regard.
This is the fourth Vigilance inquiry against him ever since he became the minister. Earlier a vigilance probe had been ordered against the minister and Kerala Congress (J) leader Johny Nellor for their alleged involvement in corruption in Registration department.
