THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Cabinet’s Business Advisory committee will decide on whether to change the budget dates or not, Speaker G Karthikeyan has said. January 17 was the date fixed for introducing the budget in the assembly. The budget session will begin from January 3.
“In the assembly nothing fruitful is happening. For this, everyone present there is equally responsible. If the assembly is not able to meet, it means there exists a dangerous situation for the democracy. For the smooth conduct of budget session, a meeting of LDF and UDF allies will be called,” he said.
