THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Lashing out at the UDF Government, CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has changed as a leader not only in the cabinet but also in corruption. The chief minister has links with all the corrupt people of the state and is also protecting them.
Pinarayi said this while inaugurating the secretariat siege organized by the DYFI against corruption and price rise. The central as well as the state governments are indulging in corruption and protecting them. The UPA government is drowned in corruption. Both Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Oommen Chandy are in the shadow of corruption.
Justice is being denied to the deserved in the mass contact programme convened by Chandy and spending money from the public treasury. It is not necessary to conduct the programme by changing the APL to BPL card, he said.
The government is denying jobs to youngsters as vacancies are neither reported nor posts filled, he said.
