THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The opposition LDF Sunday decided to call off the Cliff House blockade seeking the resignation of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the solar case.
The decision was taken at the LDF meeting held here today. Meantime, LDF convenor Vaikom Viswan briefing after the LDF meeting said the strike will continue in front of the assembly.
Viswan said they decided to call off the strike as the polls are round the corner. The strikes staged in the solar case have been completely stopped. The LDF will not boycott the chief minister from now on.
The government is fleeing by stopping the assembly session. The LDF said they will not permit the chief minister to flee once the session convenes on January 3rd.
