CHIRAYIKEEZHU: This year’s Prem Nazir award instituted by Chirayinkeezhu Pauravali will be presented to actress Shobana, Prem Nazir commemoration committee Chairman R Subhash and General Convenor S V Anilal has said. “This is for the first time a woman is winning the Prem Nazir award,” they said.
The award comprises Rs 50,0001 given by Chirayinkeezhu grama panchayat and a sculpture designed by artist B D Dathan. The award ceremony will be held at 6 pm on January 22 at Sharkara ground.
