Nothing wrong in accepting Modi if he's for religious tolerance: Bava

KOTTAYAM: Orthodox seminary head Baselios Paulose Catholica Bava has said that there is nothing wrong in accepting Narendra Modi, if he shows religious tolerance. He expressed this view to the media on Monday and heaped praise on Modi for his development activities in Gujarat

“The Orthodox Seminary members have good opinion about Modi. Modi has done the maximum in his capacity to help people do business in a better way. The atmosphere for business and industry is good there and the people say they have not got entangled in any kind of red-tapism. By saying this I am not trying to boost Modi’s image,” Bava said.

Bava said: In Kerala the seminary has not got justice from the UDF government. The government has been trying to neglect us and even the lower rungs in the seminary have come to realise this attitude of the government. The future of the government is uncertain and it is as if they themselves are trying to prove this point day by day.

When asked about the next Lok Sanha election, he said, “wait and see.”
