Cong all set to pick right candidates for LS election

NEW DELHI: KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala said on Tuesday that the party high command had given instructions for immediate selection of candidates for the coming Lok Sabha election. The discussions will first take place in Kerala and the follow up of that will happen in Delhi in January under the supervision of the high command.

He said the controversy over former chief minister K Karunakaran’s statue was unnecessary. All had seen the statue and did not make any suggestion for modification at that time.

When asked about P C George’s issue, he said he had nothing more to say than what Kerala Congress (M) K M Mani had said in that regard.
