THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Authorities ordered a departmental inquiry in the case where a retired KSRTC station master was transferred. Vigilance executive director will investigate the case and submit the report in a week.
The lapse was noticed in the transfer order of seven persons in connection with the renewed promotion list released by the KSRTC.
Muhammed Basheer, who was the station master of Haripad unit, was transferred to Attingal depot three months before and had retired from service on November 30. But the transfer order released on Saturday revealed that he was shifted from Haripad to Attingal again.
The KSRTC had correctly recorded the name of Basheer and the date of his retirement in the list released earlier. The list was earlier cancelled as the names of those dead were included in the promotion list. Lapses noticed again in the second list released after solving the mistakes, is seen seriously.
