KOCHI: Actor Dileep on Tuesday appeared before Central Excise officials to face interrogation over defaulting in service tax payment. He was asked about the source of money that was seized from his house during a recent raid.
The officials had seized unaccounted money of Rs 13 lakh and foreign currencies from Dileep’s house and Production Company in Kochi. The Central Excise has also sent notice to other famous actors for defaulting in the payment. They have been asked to respond with explanation before December 31.
