CPM state secretariat approves M Vijayakumar’s candidature

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM has approved the candidature of former speaker and former minister M Vijayakumar, as the party candidate for the Aruvikkara by-election. The district committee meet had yesterday decided to field him. The state secretariat which met here Friday approved the decision. The CPM has issued a press release announcing his name as the LDF candidate. The CPM will inform their decision at the LDF meet on Sunday and his name will be announced officially later.
