Three-member panel to probe errors in SSLC results

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  A three-member panel has been appointed as per the directive of education minister to probe the errors in the SSLC results announced. The panel was appointed following the report of the DPI.

The DP had submitted a report to the education secretary on the errors noticed in the results. The report pointed errors in everything. The minister has ordered to submit a report at the earliest after conducting a further probe.

The results were announced officially on April 18. There were complaints that grades of many students were recorded wrongly and in some cases, it was not recorded at all. The minister’s clarification was that it was due to the error of the software. After correcting it, the results were later announced on April 26. The hurry in announcing the results was the reason cited for the errors.
