Mani wants probe in corruption cases fast-tracked

KOCHI: Probe in the corruption cases should be fast-tracked, said Finance Minister K M Mani. Talking to reporters in the district, he termed as right the opinion of senior leader A K Antony that there is corruption in all areas.

Mani said, “There is corruption in the political and official levels and it is not a new thing. We should eradicate corruption. A person is not found guilty only because corruption is alleged against him. A probe should be conducted and truth should be revealed at the earliest.”

The minister refused to opine on the present problems in the congress. All parties should try to avoid public statements.”

Rubber will be procured for Rs 180 per kilo from June onwards, he said.
