SAI suicide pact: Athletes out of danger

ALAPPUZHA: The three SAI athletes, who have been admitted in hospital for suicide bid, are out of danger. The girls, who are admitted in critical care unit, have been responding to medicines. Hospital Supt. Dr Santhosh Raghavan said “though two students are provided with pacemaker, they can do away with it”.

Shilpa (17) from Alappuzha, Treesa Jacob (17) from Cherthala  and Sabitha Santhosh (17) from Ramankari are the students admitted in hospital.

Meanwhile, a team led by Crime Detachment DySP Parthasarathi Pillai has taken statements from SAI students. Statements were also taken from the parents of five students. Within two days the suicide survivors’ statement will be taken, as their health is improving.
