SAI incident: VS for comprehensive inquiry

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has sought a comprehensive inquiry into the tragic incident in which four girl students of SAI in Alappuzha had made a suicide attempt and one among them died in hospital on Thursday.

“ It was four female rowers who had tried to commit suicide by eating some poisonous fruit. Out of them, one died and other three students are still in hospital. The information available is, they were forced to commit suicide due to mental as well as physical harassment by seniors and coaches.
