THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Government Chief Whip P C George MLA has said that a candidate from Anti-corruption Democratic Front under his leadership will also contest in the Aruvikkara Assembly by-election. “In Aruvikkara UDF will drop to the fourth place,” he said at a press conference.
“The newly formed Front consists of Kerala Congress Secular, SDPI and DHRM. Six persons have been selected initially and they have no previous experience as MLAs or MPs. A shortlist of three persons out of the six will be prepared during the meeting to be held in Ernakulam on May 30. Out of the three, one person will be selected through populist scrutiny. The name of the candidate will be announced on June 4 in Thiruvananthapuram,” George said.
