UDF should improve a little more: Muslim League

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister P K Kunhalikutty has said that Muslim League is of the opinion that the UDF should keep going in a better way. If discipline is maintained in the Front, it can achieve a big win in the coming local body election. He was speaking at Janahitham 2015 programme at Press Club here on Monday.

“In the Front and in the parties in it, there are certain issues of disunity. Voices against general opinions churned out in the Front is not acceptable. All these issues will die down within in a few days. If parties take disciplinary actions, problems will stop to a great extent. In 25 panchayats in Malappuram district, there is no unity in UDF. Here, League candidates are contesting under the symbol ‘ladder’. In Malappuram panchayats there are single opponents to the League. They are contesting under feeble symbols such as spectacles, umbrella, stick etc. Here the UDF is called Sambar Front. We don’t know who all are behind this. All UDF leaders should evaluate the situation.” Kunhalikutty said.

“We are not giving any reply to the allegations raised by SNDP as it may boomerang. We will not allow others to benefit out of that. A third front will not succeed in Kerala. BJP will not gain. That is the ground reality. The allies now in the UDF will not leave it. On the basis of UDF’s developmental graph, the Front will win,” he added.
