Brothers withdraw complaint against Nisham

THRISSUR: Chadrabose murder case convict Nisham Muhammed’s brothers have withdrawn the complaint they had given against Nisham.

Brothers Abdul Rasaq and Abdul Nissar, in their application to Thrissur Rural SP R Nishanthini, today said that they were withdrawing the complaint due to domestic reasons.

In the letter, they said, proceeding with the complaint would affect their family relationships in the long run. The police had recorded the statements of both brothers.

Meanwhile, the police have not taken any decision on the request for withdrawing the complaint. They are eager to further the case registered for threatening the brothers and verbally abusing them.

The brothers had told the police that when the former visited Nisham on August 11, he had argued with them over his business. He had asked them to set apart the profit from his business for conducting the trial of his case. He also threatened to lynch them if they failed to obey his instructions.

He is said to have told them that he had links with TP Chandrasekharan murder case death row convicts, who are in the jail, and he would arrange them to kill Rasaq and Nissar.
