Ramith murder case: Two CPM activists arrested

KANNUR: Police have arrested two CPM workers in connection with the alleged murder of BJP activist Ramith at Pinarayi.
DYFI Iruvetti village joint secretary Nijoy and Pinaryi CITU loading worker Ahadh are the persons arrested.

They have been arrested on charges of murder and conspiracy.

The murder took place at Pianaryi in Kanur on October 12.

Ramith’s father Uttaman was also murdered in a political violence eight years ago. It is suspected that Ramith was murdered to avenge the murder of CPM branch secretary Kuzhichal Mohanan recently.  

The police had filed case against 10 CPM activists.
