Threat from jail: Nisham’s brothers lodge complaint

THRISSUR: Brothers of Muhammed Nisham, accused in the Chandrabose murder case, have come forward with a complaint against him. They complained that Nisham, who is in jail, are constantly threatening them. His brothers Abdul Nizar and Abdul Rasaq had lodged a complaint to Thrissur rural SP R Nishanthini. He had threatened them over a dispute in the wages of the beedi company.

The brothers had handed over the audio tape of the phone dialogues as a proof for the threat to the SP. He was provoked after knowing that the wages of his employees have been increased. He got irritated and asked them with whose permission they did it. Nisham is using two numbers in jail. It is now clear that he is getting help from the jail authorities. SP Nishanthini has directed a detailed probe in the wake of the serious allegation against him.
