Communal speech: Case filed against Sasikala teacher

KANJANGADU: Hosdurg police have registered a case against Viswahindu Parishath State Secretary K P Sasikala for allegedly making communal speech. The police said the case was filed under Section 153 (A) on the basis of the complaint filed by Government pleader.

The government pleader had complained to the district police chief after the teacher’s speech started appearing in social medias. Hosdurg police filed the case based on the direction of the district police chief.

A similar case filed by Hosdurg police against VHP secretary general Praveen Togadia  is under the consideration of the court.
In December, 2014, the court had declared him as an absconder. The case pertains to Togadia’s speech he made at Kanjangadu VHP conference in 2011. He was declared absconder after he didn’t turn up at the court after several summons.
