ATTINGAL: The car in which film-serial actor Prem Kumar along with his family members was travelling met with an accident today. The actor and his family members sustained injuries in the accident.
The accident happened in the morning at around 8:30 near Aattingal Kutcheri junction.
Prem Kumar (49) was going towards his house at Kazhakoottam from Ernakulam with his wife Jisha Kumar and daughter Jamima Kumar in their Maruti Swift car. The car lost control and rammed a pick-up van parked nearby. Due to the impact of collision, the pick-up van jerked forward and hit a parked car. A man who was seated inside the car got injured. He was admitted to Attingal Valiyakunnu government hospital though he had only minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the police said injuries sustained by the actor and family were not serious and they had filed a case over the accident.
