THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Advocate M K Sakeer will be appointed as the new PSC chairman. The decision in this regard was taken in the cabinet meeting today. Meanwhile the cabinet did not discuss the letter given by DGP Jacob Thomas yesterday seeking his removal as the Vigilance director. And, today the party decided to retain him as the director.
CPM leader V S Achuthanandan also spoke in favour of Jacob Thomas.
