Govt to provide all help to Amjad Ali Khan’s Music School

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government will provide all assistance to Ustad Amjath Ali Khan’s School of Music, informed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the assembly. Meantime, the land dealings to be handed over to Ustad Trust has to be examined by the cabinet sub panel, said Tourism Minister A C Moideen. The charitable society is registered in Surya Krishnamoorthy’s own address. Further steps can be taken only after bringing a clarity on it, he said.

Treasury is not the unauthorised agency of the income tax department, said Minister C Raveendranath.  Details can be uploaded after paying a fixed fees through authorised TIN facilitation centres of the centre. Can inform the centre if there are any complaints. The centre has given permission for it to some nationalised banks.

The fee of the uploading facilitation centre for 100 records is Rs 38, Rs 178 for 1000 records and Rs 578.50 for more than 1000 records. Once in three months the IT centre will inform centre the amount they paid through this facilitation centre.

Minister Thomas Isaac informed K M Shaji that differently abled government employees having more than two year service will be rounded up as three years so that they would get minimum pension.
