THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DGP Jacob Thomas came to the fore sticking on his decision to step down from the post of vigilance director? When asked whether he is firm in his decision, he said isn’t each day a new heaven and a new earth. When the question was repeated again, he said that he has stated earlier that yesterday's truth will not become today’s truth.
Soon after Thomas handed over a letter, home secretary Nalini Netto called on Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the Cliff House. She called on the chief minister when the cabinet is being convened today. The two might have discussed the letter.
