KOCHI: The Kerala High Court Thursday upheld slapping Kerala Antisocial Activities (Prevention) Act (KAAPA) against Muhammed Nisham, sensational industrialist and an accused in Chandrabose murder case. The court upheld after rejecting Nisham’s plea questioning slapping of KAAPA. The court dismissed the arguments that the act was slapped against him following external pressure and without enough reasons.
KAAPA was framed against him on March 10. It was slapped on him after finding him accused in many cases including locking a woman cop in car.
Nisham attacked Chandrabose, the security guard of Thrissur Shoba City on January 29 in 2015. He died while undergoing treatment on February 16.
