NEW DELHI: The centre sought a report from the state government on the political murder witnessed in Kannur. The report was sought by the union home ministry. The centre has informed the state that the murders which happen in Kannur quite often causes a concern. Unfortunate things happen in Kannur. The centre has expressed doubt from the side of the police in preventing violent attacks.
Seven persons have lost their lives after the LDF Government came to power. This shows that the police facility is not at all effective. If the state government fails to take steps in preventing political murders and attacks then the centre will intervene, the union home minister said.
The centre had sought a report when there was an attack towards the BJP office in the capital city.
