THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vanchiyoor police have filed a case against lawyers who attacked media persons at the Vanchiyoor court premise on Friday.
The case was filed against about ten identifiable persons based on the complaint lodged by the Indian Express correspondent Prabhat Nair, who was attacked at the court.
The case was charged for detaining, verbally abusing, beating and dragging him along the ground.
The tussle occurred while the court was considering a petition against former minister E P Jayarajan over the appointments of his relatives to top posts in government PSUs
