THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The big victory in Aruvikkara by-election made certain leaders over-confident and big-headed, senior Congress leader A K Antony has said. “This had resulted in the defeat of the UDF in the civic poll. But again the same situation that existed during the Aruvikkara election has come up” he said.
“Congress Chief President Sonia Gandhi’s Kerala visit has filled the party workers and leaders with new spirits. The enthusiasm shown by party workers in the Jana Raksha yatra led by KPCC president V M Sudheeran is proof of this. If the party workers work hard without being over-confident, they can win the election,” he added.
