KOZHIKODE: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy called on JD (U) leader M P Veerendra Kumar at his residence in the district. Chandy visited him in the midst of speculations that JD (U) being dissatisfied with the UDF is all set to leave the Front.
It is hinted that the chief minister visited him to appease the JD (U). JD (U) district council meetings are being held and the issue will be discussed. State council meet will be held on January 18.
However, Minister K P Mohanan and some leaders are against the party leaving the Front.
