Sree Lekha IPS censures Thachankary, says can’t tolerate anymore…

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Transport Commissioner R Sree Lekha IPS has made a scathing Facebook post against Transport Commissioner Tomin Thachankary. She says Thachankary pulled the strings to get the Thrissur Vigilance Court judge to pronounce a verdict against her.

“For the past 29 years Thachankary has been haunting me but now I need liberation from that,” Sree Lekha says.

The Vigilance court recently ordered the Vigilance to file a case against Sree Lekha and others in a School bus Tax fraud case. The Fb post comes against this backdrop.

“The incident happened when Rishi Raj Singh was the Transport Commissioner but the allegation was raised when Thachankary was the Transport chief. A false complaint was registered against me at the behest of the officer. Even from the training period of 1987 IPS batch, he has been haunting me. He was also behind leaking out to the complainant the secret report submitted by the Vigilance DySP as per court directions. His main goal is to torpedo my promotion chances and legibility for other benefits. Because of the mental harassment from him my health has deteriorated and hence I can’t tolerate it anymore,” she says.

Meanwhile, Thachankary has refuted these allegations. “All these are lies. If it is true let her submit the evidence. When such a difficulty arises she should not have posted it on the Facebook but report it to the persons concerned,” he said.
