THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Lok Ayuktha Thursday ordered a preliminary investigation against police housing construction MD DGP Jacob Thomas. The order was passed on Fernandez’ plea alleging irregularities in the purchase of equipment while Thomas was serving as the director of harbour department.
He also alleged that Thomas and his wife had encroached 151 acres of land at Kudagu in Karnataka. The petitioner also informed the court that vigilance has the secret report on it.
The Lok Ayuktha ordered the vigilance director to appear directly with the report if there is one. The Lok Ayuktha directed to issue summons to five including store purchase additional secretary.
