Governor should facilitate CM’s resignation: VS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has appealed to the Governor to intervene to facilitate the ouster of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the wake of Solar scam accused Saritha S Nair’s recent revelations. “Saritha, who had been supporting the government all these days, has spoken against it. Now, it would be shameful for the government to continue in power,” he said, requesting the governor not to address the Assembly during its February 5 session.

“In his 14-hr deposition before the Solar Commission the chief minister made record by telling lies. Saritha formed two companies to run the solar business. The investigation team has not made those companies accused in the case. Not only that, the team has not even investigated about the companies. The special investigation team formed was the one to protect Chandy.”

Thampanoor Ravi who had called up Saritha to help the chief minister should be arrested. V M Sudheeran’s  yatra which is actually “Oommen Chandy Raksha yatra” should be stopped soon. After that he should show the guts to give a resignation saying he is resigning from the bunch of thieves. Otherwise he will also be seen as a person helping the thieves,” VS said in his sarcastic style.
