THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A charred body of a man was found in the capital city Thursday morning. The body of the man was found in the verandah of a shop in between VJT Hall and Jubilee Hospital. Morning walkers found the body and informed the police. An investigation has started by a team led by cantonment assistant commissioner Suresh Kumar.
The man is suspected to be a native of Kollam working in a travel agency nearby. However, the owner of the travel agency and his relatives including his son were not able to identify the body. It is hinted that he was estranged from his relatives.Two working in a juice shop told police that they saw him early this morning at 1 am. The body has been shifted to medical college hospital for postmortem.
