Solar: Biju to move court to get Chandy accused

KOCHI: Solar case main accused and murder convict Biju Radhakrishnan is likely to approach the high court, seeking re-investigation into a solar case and making Chief Minister Oommen Chandy accused in it.

Biju will also demand cancellation of the charge sheet filed in the Pathanamthitta Judicial First Class Magistrate court in the case pertaining to cheating businessman Malleli Sreedharan Nair out of huge sum of money.

In the complaint given by Sreedharan Nair, the chief minister’s name was there but in the charge sheet the name was avoided, it was alleged. Biju will be pointing out this fact in his petition to be filed in the high court.

Biju also plans to move Vigilance court against five Assembly members including the chief minister.

The other day, Biju gave an application to Thiruvananthapuram ACJM court, demanding the above two things. The court gave permission to hand over the ‘vakalatnama’ to Advocate Mohan Kumar to file the new petition on behalf of Biju.
