Saritha to appear before commission on Jan 26, says advocate

KOCHI: Saritha S Nair, accused in the solar case will appear before the judicial commission probing the case, on January 26, said her advocate. He said that as she had to appear in other courts in many cases, she was not able to appear before them. All advocates of parties in the case appeared before the commission today.

Meantime,Jikkumon, former personal assistant of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who appeared before the commission told them Saritha reached the secretariat as managing director of Team Solar. She used to contact the office of the chief minister to know his official programmes and through that she developed a cordial relation with the chief minister. Jikkumon said that he came to know that she was a fraudster only through the media.

At the same time, the commission will record the statement of Teny Joppan, another personal assistant of the chief minister, on January 26.
