CM should quit home dept, says KPCC

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The law and order situation in the state has deteriorated and the home department is responsible for it, blamed the KPCC political affairs committee. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan should take the responsibility for it and quit the home department, said KPCC chief V M Sudheeran.

The government has failed totally in ensuring the peaceful life of the people. The violent incidents of Kannur show this. The CPM and the BJP should stop playing the game with blood. The face of the government has been disfigured after their four-month rule. The police are now inactive and is trying to trap congress activists in fake cases, he said.

Minister E P Jayarajan involved in relatives appointment issue should resign. If he is not ready to quit, then the chief minister should expel him from the cabinet. Party action is not needed against Jayarajan, legal steps should be taken against him, he said. An assembly march would be staged on October 17 seeking the resignation of Jayarajan, he said.
