THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The decision of the vigilance in ordering a quick verification against Minister E P Jayarajan on charges of nepotism will be taken soon. Vigilance director Jacob Thomas had sought legal advice on it earlier itself. A team of noted lawyers have reached vigilance headquarters to give legal advice. They are holding talks with the director. In the meanwhile, Jacob Thomas called on the chief minister at his official residence. The meeting lasted for half an hour.
The complaint of opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and BJP state general secretary K Surendran alleged that Jayarajan misused his power by appointing his relatives in a key post of public sector organisations.
